Disable Taskmanager

Well, you quite need a situation for disabling your task manager, may be you are network administrator and you should not allow the network user to play much with your windows system..so you need to know how, task manager can be disabled…It is very easy….

JUST

1. TAKE Start –> Run, and TYPE Regedit.
2. BROWSE HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
3. create a new Dword Value “DisableTaskMgr“, then
4. To Enable it, give a value of “0“, and to Disable it, give it a value of “1

MOST OF US MAY BE EXPERIENCING A VIRUS WHICH DISABLES THE TASK MANAGER..UNDERSTOOD ,HOW TO RE ENABLE AGAIN??

you will have this DWORD VALUE earlier itself and just change the value to 0 to re enable it..

Yes! This is one of the most single useful things I have ever found… thank you!

  2. Nice tip. I do have a question thought do you know how you can disable/enable hidden properties of files/folders? And further more how you can make sure they stay that way even if you try to change them?
