I have seen in many forums,people asking for money for installing wordpress with plugins.You should not waste money in such simple tasks,as i will help you in installing wordpress with all necessary,popular wordpress plugins installed.There are thousands of wordpress plugins available,which becomes handy in different fields.I will point out some of them ,which will be needed for our common use and blogging.This post would help you,gain much knowledge about wordpress,save money and also get profits by creating your own site.You can put your adsense code,or other advertising banners wherever it is possible,earning more income from your wordpress site.So,it is time to start,

STEP 1:WORDPRESS Download and Installation For Free

There are many options for this one.First one is,Download wordpress from official site.After downloading the zip archive,

1. Download and unzip the WordPress package, if you haven’t already.
2. Create a database for WordPress on your web server, as well as a MySQL user who has all privileges for accessing and modifying it.
3. Rename the wp-config-sample.php file to wp-config.php.
4. Open wp-config.php in your favorite text editor and fill in your database details as explained in Editing wp-config.php to generate and use your secret key password.
5. Place the WordPress files in the desired location on your web server:
6. Run the WordPress installation script by accessing wp-admin/install.php in your favorite web browser.
   • If you installed WordPress in the root directory, you should visit: http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php
   • If you installed WordPress in its own subdirectory called blog, for example, you should visit: http://example.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php

That’s it! WordPress should now be installed.This method is preferred only if you are hosting your wordpress site in your own server(may be at home pc).But is you are planning to host in your hosting account you have bought with a cpanel,(which is more common than the first),second is preferred.

Second is the more simpler way to do.You have got a cpanel to work on.There is no need for you to download wordpress zip archive and upload to your file manager.you can directly install wordpress wherever you need, using ‘FANTASTICO DE LUXE’.You have to simply follow the instructions and install wordpress.You can do it at the root of the site or in any subfolder as you wish.

STEP2:INSTALLING WORPRESS PLUGINS AND THEMES

I will state the most simple way of installing themes and plugins which you can complete in five seconds.

1.One Click is an extension for the wordpress blogging platform which was designed to simplify the procedure of installation of other plugins and themes.OneClick gets a zip file from a remote URL or from the user’s hard drive, and then unzips the files in the appropriate directory.

1. Download the zip file from the project page.
2. Unzip the zip file on your local hard drive. It should create a folder called “oneclick” that has some PHP files in it. Do NOT change the name of the folder or any files.
3. Open your FTP client, connect to your server and log on.
4. Navigate to your wp-content/plugins/ folder. Copy the entire “oneclick” folder to the wp-content folder. DO NOT COPY ONLY THE FILES. I cannot stress this enough.
   The folder structure should be: <blog_root>/wp-content/plugins/oneclick/. Thus, oneclick.php, the main module, should be at <blog_root>/wp-content/plugins/oneclick/oneclick.php.
5. Navigate to wp-content, and CHMOD the “plugins” folder to 0755. set the permissions for the following directories:

wp-content/themes/
wp-content/plugins/
wp-content/plugins/oneclick/

Go to the admin page, which is the second tab of the Dashboard. The plugin checks if the folders are configured correctly, and displays happy faces if they are working fine.

The main advantage is,you no longer need to download the plugin zip archive and upload via FTP.you just need to provide the exact path to the zip archive(remember:path must like http://www.xyz.com/abc.zip) and click enter.The plugin will be installed and you just need to activate the required under plugin menu.You can install THEMES also in the same way.

2.Google (XML) Sitemaps Generator for WordPress, will generate a sitemaps.org compatible sitemap of your WordPress blog which is supported by Ask.com, Google, MSN Search and YAHOO.This plugin is popular since it will automatically reports the changes of your posts to all search engines.Sitemaps can be generated at certain intervals which can be specified.So,all your blogposts will be automatically added to the search engine listings.

Installing the plugin is very easy as i said.Just right click the above link and click ‘copy link location’.Then paste this direct link(to the zip archive) in ONE CLICK (for eg:here, http://www.techtipsmaster.com/google-sitemap-generator.3.1.2.zip ),keep the option in drop-down menu to ‘plugin ‘AND click ‘GO’.

4.Get Recent Comments plugin displays excerpts of the most recent comments and/or trackbacks that have been posted to the articles in your blog.

Installation

a)unzip the archive into directory and Drop the file get-recent-comments.php into /wp-content/plugins/

b)Activate the plugin in the Plugin Management

c)Drag the widgets “Get Recent Comments” and “Get Recent Trackbacks” into the sidebar.

5.Most Popular Posts is a very simple widget that displays a link to the pages with the most number of comments. You can customize the title of the widget, the number of posts to display and comment count.

Installation

1.Upload the file most-popular.php to your Wordpress plugins folder.

2. Activate the plugin from the admin panel.

3. Go to the Widget admin page and customize the widget.

6.Vote-The-Post plugin is a professionally-designed computer application for WordPress, which allows users to vote on the individual posts on your blog or website.

Installation

1. Download the plugin archive and expand it.
2. Upload the vote-the-post directory to your wp-content/plugins directory.
3. Go to the Plugins page in your WordPress Administration area and click ‘Activate’ for Vote-the-Post. This will create the database table used by Vote-the-Post.
4. you’ve just installed Vote-the-Post and users can now rate your posts.

7.Social Bookmarks is a WordPress plugin that adds a list of XHTML compliant graphic links at the end of your posts that allow your visitors to easily submit them in a number of different social bookmarking sites.

Installation

1. Upload the social_bookmarks directory to your wp-content/plugins/ directory so that you have a new directory ’social-bookmarks’ within your plugins directory.
2. Finally, activate the plugin from your Plugins page on your WordPress administration page.
